2020 Door County Fall 50 Event Guide Available

Since we announced this year’s cancellation, many runners–both solo and teams–have expressed an interest in running the course. If nothing else, many have said they want to feel like they “earned” the hoodies and medals we are shipping out next week. WE WON’T STOP YOU! We can’t convene our entire audience at 7 am on October 24th since this would go against the whole point of the cancellation. That said, we can make it easy for those who want to run the course on their own on any day and time of their choosing.

If you want to run the event, we recommend using the course we had designed for this year which starts at the Washington Island Ferry Launch in Northport, does not pass through Peninsula Park (no permits available this year), and finishes on the Michigan Street Bridge in Sturgeon Bay. The start line, finish line, mile markers, and turns for this route will be marked prior to October 19th in white paint. We’ve also confirmed that Sonny’s Italian Restaurant will be open and ready to sell you plenty of pizza, beer and wine when you reach the finish line!
